Die actiself-Anwendung ist das Ergebnis jahrelanger Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit von Wissenschaftler*innen des Max-Planck-Instituts f\u00fcr Psychiatrie<\/a> in M\u00fcnchen. Mit Unterst\u00fctzung von Max-Planck-Innovation<\/a> entstand am Institut 2018 das SMART-Projekt, das den Einsatz von Wearables f\u00fcr die Diagnostik und Therapie von psychischen St\u00f6rungen erforschte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend dieser Zeit wurde bereits eine erste Studien-Anwendung auf einer Smartwatch entwickelt und in unterschiedlichen Abteilungen der an das Institut angeschlossenen Klink getestet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 wurde aus dem Technologie-Transfer-Projekt SMART das Startup Biomentric, gegr\u00fcndet von zwei Forschern des Instituts mit Beteiligung von Max-Planck-Innovation. Im Januar 2025 startete Biomentric mit der ersten Anwendung actiself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
